Forensic Accountant Turned PSA Consultant

I help MSPs stop losing money inside their PSA.

I spent a decade as a forensic accountant, tracing money through complex systems and figuring out where it disappears. Now I do the same thing inside ConnectWise and HaloPSA.

The short version.

I'm a forensic accountant who ended up in the MSP world. For about ten years, I worked alongside state and federal law enforcement agencies investigating financial problems. The biggest was a $310 million multi-state case involving federal funding that wasn't going where it was supposed to go. My findings kicked off that investigation. It ended with multiple states changing how they handle federally awarded funds.

These days I run PaxRig, a consulting firm that helps MSPs get their PSA platforms working the way they should. ConnectWise, HaloPSA. I get inside the configuration, find what's broken or missing, and fix it. Billing that's leaking revenue. Workflows nobody ever finished building. Reports showing data that doesn't match reality.

Same skills, different context. I follow money through systems and figure out where it's getting lost.

I write about this stuff, too.

I post regularly on the PaxRig blog. Configuration tips, PSA guides, the occasional opinion about what's going on in the MSP world. If you're dealing with ConnectWise or HaloPSA frustrations, there's probably something in there for you.
